White Dove of the Desert

13 01 2010

When I was out in Arizona last month, we decided to swing by the San Xavier Mission on our way to dinner.

Thankfully, it was right at sunset, which allowed for some great shots. I had to work quickly, though, since sunset was also about 5 minutes before the mission closed for the night.

You’d be surprised at the photos you can pull off when you’re in a bind.

What an Adventure!

9 12 2009

If you’ve been reading the blog lately then you know that I’ve been out of town the past couple of days.

I was able to take a nice vacation and swing on over to my grandparents’ house out in Arizona for a little while. It’s too bad I wasn’t able to bring the nice weather back with me to Northern Virginia, though.

The trip in general went by in an instant, but more than enough happened along the way to make it memorable. Specifically the trip out there.
