Come on now. You didn’t actually think I’d up and leave you hanging like that, would you?
It’s been a few weeks so I thought I’d give you all something nice and juicy. Recently I purchased a copy of Adobe CS4 and have been playing around with a lot of the new features. Thankfully there are all sorts of great tutorials online. One tutorial that I recently came across, and really liked, was from Peachpit.com. They’ve got all sorts of great how-to’s, but this one in particular caught my eye.
It goes over how to combine photos with different areas of a subject in focus and blending them together to create a nice macro image with a very large depth of field. The best thing about it is that it’s super easy to do. Sure, there’s a little tweaking here and there, but overall you should be able to create some very useful images. I might also add that it is a very useful when doing macro photography.

You can even make some interesting photos if you aren’t careful to keep the camera perfectly steady as you change the focal points.
